Aptzo

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 July 2026

Aptzo ("we", "our", "us") provides apartment/society maintenance management software, including the Aptzo mobile app. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it's handled.

Who this applies to

Aptzo is used by residential society/apartment administrators and residents to track maintenance dues, payments, and building expenses. This policy covers both roles.

Information we collect

We do not collect precise location, contacts, camera, or microphone data, and the app does not process card or bank credentials directly — payment mode is recorded as a label (e.g. "UPI"), not as an integration with a payment provider.

How we use this information

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Data storage and security

Data is stored in a MongoDB database operated by us and accessed only over authenticated, encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Access within a society's data is restricted to that society's authorized admins and residents.

Data sharing

We do not share personal data with third parties, except:

Data retention and deletion

We retain account and financial records for as long as the society continues using Aptzo, so historical dues/expense records stay accurate. A society admin or resident can request deletion of their account or data by contacting us below; we'll remove or anonymize it unless we're required to retain it (e.g. for financial recordkeeping).

Children's privacy

Aptzo is not directed at children and is not knowingly used by anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
